Mohammed Amidu Alhassan is a dedicated development practitioner and programme specialist with over a decade extensive experience in fundraising, gender transformative approaches, and community empowerment initiatives in Ghana. As the Head of Institutional Development and Partnerships of Songtaba, he plays a key role in maintaining a good policy regime, ensuring the institutionalization of systems and SOPs to create a unique workplace culture for the organization. As part of his roles, he undertakes project coordination, maintaining transformational partnerships, including stakeholder engagement, and promoting inclusive development across marginalized communities.
Mohammed has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a Bachelor of Arts in Management Studies from the same university. He has outstanding Strategic & Institutional Development Skills, Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement Skills, Resource Mobilization & Fundraising Skills, Communication & Influence Skills, and Leadership & Management Skills.
He is passionate about advancing social justice, strengthening community structures, and supporting vulnerable groups particularly women, girls, and survivors of gender-based violence to access protection, education, and livelihood opportunities. His work involves designing and ensuring that programme interventions are aligned with national frameworks and donor requirements.
