Current Role: Accounts Officer, who has over six years of experience and worked as a Livelihood Officer, where I supported community development initiatives and implemented program aimed at improving household income and resilience.

I have now transitioned into the role of Accounts Officer as part of my academic and     professional growth in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data
  • Making payments and expenses and processing invoices
  • Ensure that a company’s invoices and payments match up correctly by cross-checking the original document to the company’s records.

Areas of expertise of Professional Interest:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
  • Payroll processing and statutory deduction
  • Use of accounting software (e.g., Quick books)
  • Bank reconciliation and cash book.
