Huzaifa Issahaku is a Programme Officer at Songtaba, with specialty and professional interests in Integrated Health and Local Philanthropy.

He is responsible for coordinating and implementing activities across four key projects, where he focuses on outcome harvesting and reporting to ensure effective contributions to organizational priority areas. Additionally, he serves as the organization’s local philanthropy focal person, managing the Faako Social Fund where he assiduously mobilizes local resources both in cash and in-kind to respond to the immediate needs of vulnerable people in society.

Huzaifa also supports the communication department by providing essential editorial and review assistance prior to publications. Moving forward, he aims to leverage his in-depth local and international experiences and knowledge in Climate Finance, Negotiations and Adaptation to contribute significantly to the Songtaba’s Climate and Decent Work program priority.
